Phase 3: Ovulation (Days 12-16)

During the third phase of our cycle, the heart rate, breathing rate, body temp all increase so it’s really important to stay hydrated. Our progesterone is higher than before so our recovery might take longer. Making it very important to consume adequate protein. Because of that higher progesterone, it might be harder to build muscle. So instead, we are focusing on building endurance during this phase. Some of you might experience some bloating or cramping during this phase… if that is the case, do your best to stay consistent while also giving your body the rest and recovery it needs.

Your recommended rest days are days 13 and 16.
